Our principal Mr Skopelja has been a leading criminal defence lawyer in the growing area of South West Sydney for over a decade.

Having previously conducted work in other areas of the law, Mr Skopelja’s first passion and focus has always been in the area of criminal law.

Having appeared in more than a thousand criminal law matters (ranging from bail applications, appeals, hearings & trials), Mr Skopelja is a well-known advocate who brings with him a level of experience unmatched by most.

Mr Skopelja has over his time as a criminal defence lawyer seen the rights of an accused person and the presumption of innocence slowly being eroded, and continues to fight for the principles underpinning our criminal justice system, and the onus that a prosecution bears “to prove the guilt of the accused beyond a reasonable doubt”.

Over the years of advocacy undertaken in the courts, Mr Skopelja has built a great rapport with the bench (Magistrates/Judges) in the Local and District courts serviced by our firm.
