At Skopelja Solicitors we pride ourselves on ambition and the unrelenting drive to ensure the best result for our clients.
We practice in the area of criminal law only (including traffic law) and nothing else.
When you engage our firm to act on your behalf, you will receive services from an experienced senior advocate and not a junior lawyer as practised by a large number of firms elsewhere.
We acknowledge and recognise that your legal problem, however big or small, is most important to you and we will ensure that you receive the proper advice and representation from day one.
We are forthcoming about our fees and the likely journey that your matter will take. Unlike many other firms, we have no hidden fees and we avoid our clients being embroiled in senseless protracted litigation.
Unlike other firms advertising online with fake reviews, we will ensure that you are represented by an experienced criminal defence lawyer throughout your matter. Our principal Mr Skopelja will be the lawyer with carriage of (overseeing) your case from start to finish.

Who Are We?
Skopelja Solicitors is a Legal Practice situated in Liverpool NSW providing services in the growing area of Western Sydney specialising in Criminal Law (including Traffic Law).
In the day and age where the rights of an accused person and the presumption of innocence are slowly being eroded, we pride ourselves on the ingrained legal principles that have governed the centuries old criminal justice system which we have inherited here in Australia/NSW.
Our principal, Mr Skopelja has been an active member of the legal profession and the local community for well over a decade, having been admitted as solicitor and barrister in 2009.
Our firm has a strong connection to the grassroots and we pride ourselves on being involved in the growing community in South West Sydney.
Whether it is an appeal against a licence suspension or a serious charge such as murder, we will represent your rights before the law and give you the appropriate advice and representation.

Our principal Mr Skopelja has been a leading criminal defence lawyer in the growing area of South West Sydney for over a decade.
Having previously conducted work in other areas of the law, Mr Skopelja’s first passion and focus has always been in the area of criminal law.
Having appeared in more than a thousand criminal law matters (ranging from bail applications, appeals, hearings & trials), Mr Skopelja is a well-known advocate who brings with him a level of experience unmatched by most.
Mr Skopelja has over his time as a criminal defence lawyer seen the rights of an accused person and the presumption of innocence slowly being eroded, and continues to fight for the principles underpinning our criminal justice system, and the onus that a prosecution bears “to prove the guilt of the accused beyond a reasonable doubt”.
Over the years of advocacy undertaken in the courts, Mr Skopelja has built a great rapport with the bench (Magistrates/Judges) in the Local and District courts serviced by our firm.
What We Do?
At Skopelja Solicitors we offer legal advice and representation in the field of:
- Criminal Law including all State and Commonwealth (Federal) matters (Indictable and Summary); and
- Traffic Matters including drink driving, drive whilst under the influence of drugs, drive whilst disqualified/suspended/cancelled, dangerous driving, licence appeals, habitual traffic offender declarations; and
